Tatianah Predestin

SWIIFT Keiser University President

My name is Tatianah Predestin. I am currently pursuing a degree in the Chiropractic Medical Program. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Science with an alternative medicine minor and two Masters, one in Public Health with a concentration in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and one in Functional Nutrition. Prior to pursuing my academic career in health care, I was a full cosmetologist who was focused on giving women and men a new outlook on life. I focused on uplifting their spirit with the way they looked on the outside, whilst also utilizing my faith to uplift them on the inside. I worked from clients with cancer for whom I customized and created wigs, to working runways and fashion shows. Most of what I have done in life had been geared towards connecting with people on a level which transcends superficial existence. I have always been able to connect with people no matter their background. That ability is what has helped me when I served on the medical board of a non-profit healthcare center or when I care

Teyonna Cashew

SWIIFT Keiser University Secretary

My name is Teyonna Cashaw, I prefer my middle name Layla. I am a retired Army Vet and single mother of 5 beautiful children. In my few short years on this earth I have done a lot and seen a lot. Many things have shaped who I am today but my ultimate motivation is my children. SWIIFT is an honor to me for many reasons but one in particular sticks out. When my daughter had her modeling interview at the age of 10 her reason for wanting to do it is to create a platform for young girls. She said there is a lack of positive role models for women. And I want to show and exemplify women empowerment in every move that I make. My children and helping others brings a joy to me like no other.

SWIIFT Keiser University Treasurer

My name is Julia Mancini and I am pursuing a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine. My passion for healthcare stemmed from two things which deeply rooted me from a young age about what my purpose in this life is. First, was taking after my mom whose heart beats to take care of people. My mom was an amazing nurse for many years before I was born, and after I was diagnosed with some serious health issues as a child, her role as a nurse picked back up when she had to care for me. I remember being so sick I spent more time in hospitals, going to doctor’s appointments, or being home because of not being well than I was at school. Much of the time I was home, when I would play with my dolls, I would be playing doctor. I got very creative at times, but one of the things I remember most was always emulating the female doctors I would see. One of the most important role models, was my childhood chiropractor who often was the only one able to provide me true relief. You see, there was a huge difference in the attention, gentleness, and compassionate care that I would receive from a female doctor versus a male. There were of course some very good male doctors, however, I was never as comfortable with a male as I was with a female. In my mind, I knew there were some roles and situations in which a female was more suited. Prior to coming to Keiser University, I had been down a few roads from studying exercise science and working as an exercise physiologist and personal trainer before finding my way to Chiropractic. I have since then become great friends with the founders and president of this organization because they’re some of the most amazing, intelligent, inspiring, and driven young women I have ever met. I truly look up to them and want to see their creation; Swiift, grow and touch other women’s lives the way they have mine. After all, “You are the product of your environment, surround yourself with the best” -William Clement Stone.

Cheyenne Petrillo-Lavier

SWIIFT Keiser University Social Media Manager

My name is Cheyenne Petrillo-Lavier. I was born in Utica, New York. I have been a student athlete all my life juggling cross country, track, and lacrosse. I have graduated from multiple colleges gaining two Associates, one Minor and a Bachelor's degree all revolving around sports, coaching, and exercise science. What led me to pursue a career in Chiropractic at Keiser University was a two-way tie between athletic training. In the middle of my undergraduate program, I was forced to change my major to exercise science with a concentration in sports studies. As the athletic program was taken away leading me to fall back on classes associating with my major. I knew chiropractic was what I was meant to do. I am currently our Social Media Manager for SWIIFT Inc. and I plan to catch the true meaning of women empowerment, and to share the importance of who we are in the healthcare profession.
